Creative Facilitator (Half-Term Youth Programme)
We are hosting a youth programme this October half-term, providing FREE to access cultural theme creative provision to young people in Tower Hamlets at our centre in the Isle of Dogs from 29-31 October 2024.
We are keen to work with a emerging visual arts facilitator aged 18-24 of South Asian background in a paid role ideally skilled in mixed-media with experience participating in community projects with knowledge of East London.

NCS (National Citizen Service) PROGRAMME
Trapped in Zone One exists to engage, educate, and inspire the public through creative programmes where everyone can enjoy art, and connect with their communities. We are looking for young people to engage in a 9-month programme . The programme is broken down into 3 phases: Life Skills, Social Action, Employability.
Through engaging in NCS we want young people to:
Become world- ready and work-ready
Feel able to have an impact on the world
Have greater confidence, resilience, and wellbeing
Have respect and tolerance for difference and diversity
This will be achieved by the following experiences:
Developing life skills and supporting independent living
Providing opportunities for volunteering and social action
Building employability and work-readiness
Enabling social mixing of young people from all backgrounds.

We are looking for young people to volunteer with us in festival events over summer. In this role you’ll:
Engage the communities in Tower Hamlets
Learn about art and to facilitate workshops with artists
Build confidence and make friends
Improve your employability
Cover lunch and travel expenses.
Skills Description
We are looking for individuals with passion for the arts, who are knowledgeable about climate change (related environmental/sustainability issues), keen to share their knowledge with others, and able to interact and inspire young people and communities to reduce their carbon footprints.
